JEEP RENEGADE COOLING FAN AND IAT CIRCUIT FAULT DIAGNOSIS

In today's case study we have a 2015 Jeep Renegade with the 2.4l 4 cylinder Multiair engine. The customers complaint was that the cooling fan was not working. The customer did her own troubleshooting and found that the cooling fan was bad. She requested for us to replace the fan and we did. But even after replacing the cooling fan, it still did not work. The check engine light is illuminated and using a scan tool we were able to read that there are 2 different codes present. P0481 Cooling fan 2 control circuit fault and P0113 Intake air temperature sensor 1 circuit high fault. Follow along as I take you through the troubleshooting steps I took in order to diagnose this vehicle.
