The Package Repackaged

17 years ago our church created and enacted a silly story just for fun and videotaped it to be enjoyed by membership and friends. I was honored to be the one who edited it and put it on VHS tape (remember VCRs?). Two years later YouTube was getting started, and eventually I uploaded the play in two parts, because uploads were limited to 10 minutes. One day they discovered a copyrighted song in part 2 and muted the whole video (now they mute only the copyrighted part). Nobody was watching it anyway, so I made no effort to get it going again. Recently I remembered it and decided to reprocess it, as it has been long enough for the people involved to enjoy it again - in one piece and slightly better quality this time.

To my new subscribers: the play was designed after the silent movie, slapstick era, so some players made up their own gibberish, and some just stayed silent. If you decide to watch, please keep in mind that it was all for fun, not to be critiqued. I hope many of you can enjoy it. I am grateful that the YouTube audio sniffers are not set to seek for John Barry, because, while I used dozens of non-copyrighted music and sound effects, I would not bother to upload this video without Barry's "Somewhere In Time" soundtrack. I really never was aware of how important music is to a movie until I made this. So, big thanks to John Barry.
