Linda Davis & Lang Scott - Old Flames - Larry's Country Diner

I normally do not upload videos that are readily available for sale, but this is such an exquisite representation of traditional country music - I could not resist. I put Larry's commercial and phone number at the end so I will think of this as a commercial for Larry. My wife and I were privileged to meet and spend time with Lang's father many years ago, when he and Linda were traveling with Reba McEntire. He later mailed me an unimaginable gift: a full cassette of Lang and Linda's recordings from their home studio. If you're interested, here's the URL to one of the songs, for which I created a video: https://youtu.be/ssGbr23pCqM

Thanks to Dave Wollenberg for correcting me about the author of the song. Although I can't correct the scroll in the video, here are the facts about its origin, according to my Internet search:
The country singer Hugh Moffatt and songwriter Rosemary Patricia (Pebe) Sebert wrote this song in 1977 soon after they were married. Sebert came up with the title after encountering an old boyfriend. She came home, told Moffatt about it, and let him know he shouldn't worry, because "old flames can't hold a candle to you." Nevertheless, something soured, as Moffatt and Sebert separated in 1984.
