After 3 years, 160 videos, 67000 subscribers, 3.9 million views and 342000 hours of watch time, it's time to make a BIG change! But first, a massive thank you to everyone who has watched my videos and helped the channel to grow over the past few years.

When I first launched the Honest Money YouTube channel, my goal was to create content that would offer genuine value to viewers across a broad range of topics. I recorded videos that covered areas of interest such as business tips, financial advice, electric cars, cryptocurrency, the UK housing market and lots more.

At the end of 2022, I created some videos that discussed house prices and the potential of a UK house price crash. Some of these videos went viral which led to an influx of new subscribers and views. Due to this success over the past 18 months, my content has almost exclusively focused on the UK housing market, however, I now feel like I am creating content for the YouTube algorithm instead of unique valuable content for my viewers.

My content has become repetitive and it is a lot less enjoyable to make. Now is the right time to recognise this and it is now clear to me that for the channel to have a long term future I need to get back to the basics of creating value driven content.
