NC Career Exploration: Reference Archivist

The State Archives of North Carolina holds some of the state’s most treasured materials…but who takes care of those things? Archivists are the superheroes that help keep our history safe. Meet Katherine Crickmore, Reference Archivist at the State Archives of North Carolina, to learn more about what she does to make the archives open for everyone.

The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources covers North Carolina from A to Z and has staff members that can be everything from accountants to zookeepers. Hear from some of these folks and learn about the many different jobs across the Department. The Career Exploration Program introduces unique professions in the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources while helping students consider:
