TOPCAT NZ Cook Straight Fast Ferry

A blast from the past many years ago in New Zealand. We did this crossing of the Cook Straight in New Zealand from Picton to Wellington in the fast ferry which was built in Hobart Tasmania, Australia by International Catamaran. It was a fast trip cutting the crossing time in half compared to the mono hull inter-island ships. This fast ferry is like being on a fast speed boat with the same sort of motion consequently people were getting seasick more often on the big cat so they no longer have one in service.
