I'm not sure what John Prine knew about repressed memory versus suppressed memory, but this song will touch many, who in their own way, figure out how to cope with the the bad things that happen to them along the road of life as it whistles past at breakneck speed. This is just another song from one of the best songwriters of our time that illustrates his grasp of life and how to accept it for what it is.... hopes, fears, struggle, and survival.
I fell at a restaurant nearly three months ago and injured my right wrist. It's healed enough to begin playing again. I'd like to thank my subscribers for their patience during my rehabilitation.
