Norwegian Master Baker Morten Schakenda makes his famous Bolle for Failte Ireland at Bakeriet I Lom in Norway. These are similar to a butter croissant dough brushed with a mix of cinnamon, butter and brown sugar before it is folded twice and cut into strips. This visit was part of a Failte Ireland (The Irish Tourism Board) benchmarking trip to Norway with the eight new Food Ambassadors for the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland. I'm delighted to be one of the Failte Ireland Food Ambassadors.
