Our 3D printed vase turned out slightly bigger than expected

I don't understand, it looked so small on the screen...

In the last two years, my colleague Lenny Tönnäng and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the WouldWood II project which aims to enable 3D printing of wood fibre composites. Here we have used a wood fibre composite developed by Stora Enso in our large scale 3D printer. The material contains 50% wood fibres.

WouldWood II is a research project coordinated by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and funded by the Swedish Innovation Agency, Vinnova, through the strategic innovation programme Challenge Driven Innovation.
