Another step in making a scratch-built Radio Controlled Great Lakes freighter. Today we'll make the PILOTHOUSE. Remember- this isn't the only way to do this step. These videos are to help answer the question of how do I make make my models. I'm polish, so I improvise and I adapt things that are used elsewhere in order to create my boats. If the method works, I've stuck with it. Sometimes I drift into the point where it goes "Walt" which is what we'd call it when my dad had something like his riding lawnmower that was improvised and cobbled to the point where no one but him could make it actually work... thus, we'd say it was "Walt'ed." Of course he was 100% polish... so I only get about half way there- then my Japanese wife catches me and drags me back to where "regular" people reside.
