Mentor Monday: High Protein Keto?
Isn't high protein counter intuitive on a ketogenic way of eating? No, higher protein is actually better for muscle mass retention and for fast fat loss. Why would you get your calories from extra fat when it decreases how much fat you burn from your body's fat stores? Don't be afraid of protein. Our entire body's cells are made up of it. Eating higher protein will not knock you out of ketosis. I am living proof that keto with high protein not only works, but works well!
