Super Roboy Metroidvania Review - Soulsborne Seeker

Super Roboy, is a science fiction metroidvania game with great exploration and incredibly fun combat!

A big thank you to the developer, Vincent Penning, for providing me with a review copy of Super Roboy!

The game tells the story of the titular Roboy, a small, wholesome robot who awakens in a subterranean cavern while devoid of memories but in the company of Virgil, an AI creation that identifies itself as his guide and part of Roboy’s own consciousness. Roboy inquires about his missing memories, but Virgil explains that they need to seek out Roboy’s father in order for the little robot to find answers. Thus, Roboy embarks on a mission across a sprawling underground complex in search of his parent, in the process learning, both, about the history of his surroundings as well as his very own nature.
