RESELLER REWIND! | WHAT GOES TO THIS SHOW SELLS AT THIS SHOW

This retro rewind look back offers my first video of my booth at an antique and vintage show, and what a show to choose! This show booth (seen here on Day 2) grossed the highest sales of any show in my career. There’s only so many giant swap meets in this country, and Packwood, Washington is the biggest kept secret of them all.

I set up out of desperation one year when an estate sale was canceled (leaving me stuck with three storage lockers of antiques to sell)…the show was so crazy busy and fun, I return twice each year, and it’s become my best show of the season! This bitty town of under 1000 full time residents turns into a sprawling buying and selling venue for thousands of resellers and 20,000 shoppers every Labor Day and Memorial Day weekend (except in 2020…here’s to next year).

You can sell anything at this flea market—seriously, from biker gear to baby clothes—but I stick to my tried and true old stuff, and being surrounded by other vintage dealers makes our field a collector magnet. In this video, I talk about what I brought to sell and why, and update it with selling prices and the triggers that make collectors interested in these great old things! I also show a bit of the surroundings in this lovely setting near Mt. Rainier.
