Make a Custom Fitness Headband Using Cut n Press System

Hello From Colman and Company! We start at the end showing off our DFX Custom Colman and Company label because we are proud to show you how we created this Custom Vinyl Logo front for a sport headband with our Cut N Press system!

Using our Cut N press Software we have created and cut out our vinyl transfers for a bright lime green Headband. Then we are weeding out all of the lettering for the white part of the design. I’ve made two copies for which is enough for two headbands. This is a great way to save money!

Weeding lettering doesn’t have a to be a hassle just make sure you choose pick with a nice sharp tip and chose a high quality vinyl like this Triton and you will be able to do the majority of your weeding in one pull and just have to take out the little inner letter portions.

And now no onto the black lettering in our design. Again, with triton, you can start at the corner and with one pull your almost done. Jjust a little attention to the inner parts of the letters and you can easily pick those off and get right to the good stuff. Some fonts leave a little more letter tags than others so make sure to play with Serif and Sans Serif font to see which works with your design the best.

Using the Teflon Pillow, I will place the Headband around it to help make sure that the seams don’t cause a transfer issue. When I close the press it will simply squish into it. Then using the Hotronix Fusion, I will press for 1 second at 302*F to tack down the first color. Then using the second (and final color)- I will press for a full 10 seconds. This is going to finish the application. Quick Finishing sheet to help and now the final peel! Look at that! Vinyl transfer is complete!

Now finally where we began! Here we are applying our own custom Digital Heat FX Logo to the back of this Headband, It’s a fantastic idea to promote your own business and clients – even washing instructions!- in a little over a minute.

Fist line it up – a little tape to help keep it in place. and now the flexible finishing sheet to help with the seams and Just 30 seconds to apply. I leave it on for just a few extra when using the flexible finishing sheet (To make sure it grips on nicely)

Pull off the press to cool a few moments and then peel and then a final press to complete the job!
