There is 'no evidence these lockdowns work'

The Australian's Adam Creighton says "there is no certain evidence that these lockdowns work" following the implementation of strict measures in Victoria.

"It is very obvious" from looking around the world that this the case, he told Sky News host Alan Jones.

Mr Creighton and Mr Jones discussed the recent widespread lockdowns in Victoria and the ramifications they will have on Australians and the country.

Mr Creighton said it is just extraordinary the decision has been taken in Victoria "with just massive costs without any justification".
