Megadeth just released his sixteenth studio album entitled "The Sick, The Dying...And The Dead!" on september 2nd of 2022 and it is as fast and nasty as it is good !
Guitarist extraordinaire Kiko Loureiro is on fire here for his sophomore release with Megadeth, contributing to no less than 8 songs on the album and unleashing tons of inspired, intricate, melodic and tasty solos !
Kiko and I discuss Megadeth new record, Kiko's input and his working relationship with Dave Mustaine as well as touring and the gear he uses including his signature guitar Ibanez Kiko100, amps used in the studio and playing live with the Neural DSP Quad Cortex.
Please note that Kiko's connection was unstable as he was in his tourbus in the middle of nowhere heading to an arena in the US on tour, so I had to edit some video freeze here and there, especially in the beginning of the video. Hope you'll enjoy this one, regardless !
