Archive #35 goes back to 2019 when Rival Sons played a triumphant gig at the Olympia in Paris on the "Feral Roots" tour.
Rival Sons is simply my favorite band of the past decade. I was sent to their debut Euro/Uk gig at the Barfly in London on february 12th of 2011 and felt in love with the band since.
The band definitely reached its full potential to me with their Atlantic Records release "Feral Roots" and the tour that followed.
Sat down with Scott Holiday (a.k.a The Fuzz Lord) before the sold-out Olympia show to discuss "Feral Roots", the evolution of the band's sound through all the previous records, the gear Scott used on this specific tour, signing with Atlantic Records and some praises for singer Jay Buchanan, producer Dave Cobb and last but not least sound man Neil McDonald.
