Recreating Vintage Film Looks in ACR & Lightroom

This week, I'm demonstrating how to recreate the look of classic film stocks like Velvia, Kodachrome, and Tri-X using Adobe Lightroom Classic. These techniques also work in Lightroom CC and Adobe Camera Raw (ACR).

Creating vintage looks in Lightroom requires a lot of tinkering with Curves, Color Mix, Toning and Grain. I've spent the last several months working on a set of presets to emulate some of my favorite classic color and monochrome film types.

I also built a set of 37 creative (XMP) profiles that allow you to apply color toning to your base image, without having to use slider controls.
