Patient about 35 years old, physical education teacher and personal trainer in demanding physical activity.
He presented to the consultation with nail trauma and good evolution for several days and periungual inflammation in both plates of the big toes, ready for a thorough podological cleaning.
The traumatic situation that he presents in the hallux nails is due to the use of very tight boots during a soccer game.
A thorough cleaning of the toenails is carried out to keep the grooves free and avoid any discomfort when putting on footwear.

[FOLLOW-UP - 3 months later]
Toenail maintenance after an initial deep cleanup.
Detailed cleaning is performed in the lateral and apical grooves of the traumatized nail, as well as skin and hematoma remains on the free edge of the toenail.
