So its no secret on LWT we are of the thinking Tesla stock is currently overpriced and the hype with the future is overbought in the stock price. That said we do believe that Evs (electrical vehicles) are the future. We are of the thinking that general motors stock or GM STOCK has a solid chance of gaining some ground on tesla stock price in coming years.

Our Rational on this is that GM STOCK has not really seen the EV push that other companies have had and yet it has quietly sat on sidelines whilst moving into EVs and making its own battery set up. I think this alone should have market share to GM stock and if tesla is indeed fair valued then GM STOCK should be much higher

Now the big question with GM stock price is the debt to equity and more so recently cutting dividends which I do think will come back to GM stock but could also bring a dip to buy opportunity.
Tesla stock for sure is the favourable stock int he electrical vehicle world but the biggest issue for me to wrap my head around is that given tesla market share they would need to have nearly half all cars on road to be a tesla to justify the value. SO I DO still think tesla stock price is overvalued and should be below $300 but the hype is real and a lot of tesla fanboys keep buying it so I would not be surprised if Tesla stock price went higher still then corrected back. Back to GM STOCK, I do think there is some value to be had here and potentially GM could break to new All-time highs if it gains some success with its EVs coming. BUt General motors stock is heavily in debt and that means I would not take a big position.
