You Have To Try This CARNE CON CHILE!

Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen first of all I want to thank you for being part of our family, and allowing me to be part of yours!!!! today I’m going to share with you how to make a very easy and delicious carne con chile, it’s seriously sooooo delicious that even your little ones will enjoy, this is one of my family’s favorite comfort food, we enjoy it as a stew and like to eat it with simple white rice, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions and cilantro! 🍚 White rice recipe: it’s my most basic recipe, it’s the best with this dish! Rinse 1 1/2 cup white rice, on high heat melt 2tbsp salted butter with 1 garlic clove, once butter has melted add your rice and cook it for 5 minutes, DONT let it turn golden color, like you would do for Spanish rice, add 2 3/4 cups water, let it boil, (it only takes a couple seconds) reduce heat on lowest setting and let it cook for 30 minutes! DONT mix it at all, just let it cook!!!! Super simple 😉 you can add vegetables such as corn, green beans, carrots and chicken bouillon, but for me just plain is the best way to go with any stew 🍚

What can go wrong???
Not seasoning and searing meat can cause your meat to be less flavorful

‼️‼️Tip!!! Make sure your meat is at room temperature and dry, also make sure you season your meat well!
Transfer your chili/spice blend to a cup/bowl before adding the water I wasn’t thinking when I added mine to my blender cup, you will get everything out if dry 😅

Ingredients:
4 lbs chuck pot roast
8 cups water; divided(add less if you want)
3 New Mexico or guajillo chile pods
3 chile ancho
3 chile árbol(optional)
3 jalapeños
5 garlic cloves
1 small white onion
1 cup canned crush tomatoes or boil 5-6 roma tomatoes and crush them
1/2 lime
1/3 cup Maseca
5 tsp whole cumin
2 tsp oregano
1-2 beef bouillon
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp salt
Topppings: optional, just how “I” like to serve it, when enjoying as a “stew”
White rice
Cheddar cheese
Onion
Cilantro
Bacon bites
