Hurricane Douglas Passing Just North of Oahu

Hurricane Douglas has fortunately moved significantly north of very recent forecasts, and is passing just north of Oahu with the harshest conditions remaining just offshore of the island. This shift is palpable in the change of CPHC forecasts for odds of tropical storm force winds in Honolulu, which plummeted from over 70% to 26% between advisories. Adverse conditions are still possible in Oahu and Kauai, and if you're at either of those locations please stay safe and listen to your local weather office and officials.
