Young Adults Program (Guide Dogs Victoria) Bright Trip

Our Travelling Yappers hit the slopes earlier this year, and there was no shortage of laughs, snowball fights and tobogganing!

Participants in the Young Adults Program (YAP) headed out to Bright in Victoria for a four-day trip which was filled with activities including a cycling tour, a walking tour and visiting the many sights of Bright.

For many of the group, it was the first time experiencing the snow, making it an exciting and adventurous trip, with one participant describing it as “an adventure that they will never forget."

The YAP program is one of our many peer support programs open to people with low vision or blindness to help facilitate social connection.
Head to our website to learn more about the peer support programs available in your state, or DM us for details about YAP in Victoria or New South Wales: https://bit.ly/ConnectionsServices

Thank you to The Collier Charitable Fund for their support of this program in Victoria.
