The kind of reactions that I get when I wear a saree (in Poland) are sometimes so intense that it really becomes uncomfortable.
While walking on streets, on occasions, even strangers have come to ask what I am wearing, and why I am wearing it.
Now, I should tell you that I wear a saree only occasionally.
Yes, I am married to a Hindu man from India, but mainly, I continue to stick to the Western clothing culture that I was introduced to when I was raised and, of course, that is quite natural.
