Why do many foreigners think that 'Holi' is just a 'color party'? | Karolina Goswami

Today it is Holi and, finally, I can allow myself to relax a little bit. So, I am making ‘gujiya’ for our family. It is a popular sweet dish from India, and it is especially in demand during the Holi season. The reason why I am so comfortable making this, is that how it is made is very similar to the Polish dish ‘pierogi’. It's pretty unfortunate that we couldn’t be in India during Holi. There are harsh restrictions over here (in Poland), because of the Coronavirus, and the Indian embassy is also struggling, due to that.
