Bat Masterson Describes: Wyatt Earp Defends Dodge City (Recollections)

During his time as lawman of Dodge City, Wyatt Earp had to arrest and "tame" many of the wild Texas cowboys that came into town. At 3 am on July 26, 1878 Wyatt Earp was forced to fire his weapon at a cowboy who had shot up a local dance hall and saloon. The cowboy was George Hoy, and the bullets he sent crashing through the thin wooden walls of the Comique Theater threatened the lives of those inside. Bat Masterson was inside the building at the time, alongside Doc Holliday. In this episode of "Recollections" we learn from Bat his version of events.
