More assertive and with contemporary edge, New Renault Austral adopts the brand's new design language. Featuring completely redesigned front and rear ends and a new light signature, its overall look is now more consistent with Rafale and New Espace.

Illustrating the continuing C-segment offensive, the onboard experience is upgraded in terms of both comfort and useful technologies. New features include an automatic driver recognition system for a personalised welcome.

Whether moving or parked, passengers enjoy far greater onboard comfort, with new, more ergonomic front seats and improved NVH performance.

New shock absorbers and bigger tyres contribute to driveability and more incisive handling. The full hybrid E-Tech 200 ch powertrain delivers an exceptional performance/efficiency ratio. Driveability has been further optimised since launch, with smoother gear changes and acceleration.

Depending on the market, the range also includes a Mild Hybrid 160 ch powertrain (not available in France) with an automatic gearbox.

Still eminently functional, New Renault Austral makes full use of its folding, reclining rear bench seat, designed to slide over 16 cm in order to modulate load capacity as required. The space available ranges from 527 to 1,736 litres with the full hybrid E-Tech 200 ch powertrain.

New Renault Austral is available in three trim levels: Evolution, Techno and Esprit Alpine. Still built at the Palencia plant in Spain, Renault Austral will be available in several European countries before the summer.
