Crystal Lake - Hidden California!

Join me on an adventure to the only naturally occurring lake in the San Gabriel Mountains! High in the mountains over Southern California is an area with a history of tourism, prospecting, fishing, hiking, and strange and unusual incomplete highway projects that dead end - in the middle of nowhere. High at the top of this mountain is Crystal Lake, one of the most popular attractions in Southern California in the early to mid 20th century! It offers camping, hiking, history, fresh air, and a link to a very surreal past!

As of May 2024 the lake is now very clear. Probably why they called it "Crystal Lake"!

*Did they film the "Friday The 13th" Movies here? No. Camp Crystal Lake is a work of fiction, filmed in New Jersey... Or was it?
