Bengal Tigers
When you take a look at Orlando, Florida, you’re probably expecting to see cats, dogs, and a ton of birds, basically your everyday domestic pets. But we challenge you to take a look at Janice Haley’s yard, and you’ll come face to face with a 600 pound male white Bengal Tiger and a 400 pound orange Bengal Tiger. They’re not your everyday pets, but Janice wouldn’t have it any other way.
From the front, Janice’s home looks like any other suburban property, except there’s a massive tiger enclosure in the rear for her two giant feline friends. Janice hand feeds the tigers three times a day and gives them plenty of time for interactions and playing. These giant cats are truly living their lives!
Rambo The Alligator
To most people, the thought of an alligator as a house pet might sound completely crazy, but not to Mary Thorne. Mary Thorne was a professional wrestler who retired to train students at kids’ pro wrestling. One day, while working at her wrestling school someone dropped off a plastic container with five alligators packed inside. They were alive but in a really bad state, they’d lived in a dark closet all their lives.
This meant that their skin was sensitive to sunlight, and it blistered under it. With such a poor start to life, four of the alligators soon died. The last one, Rambo, grew up to become Mary’s closest companion. She would lather him up in sunscreen and protect his body, teach him tricks and even house train him. Rambo doesn’t have a single aggressive bone in his body, and this makes us love him even more!
