A Day in the Life of the Sandia Science & Technology Park

Take a guided tour of the Sandia Science & Technology Park (SS&TP). Get an inside look at the 300+ acre master-planned technology community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A thriving high-tech community located adjacent to Kirtland Air Force Base and Sandia National Laboratories, the SS&TP is home to many of New Mexico’s fastest growing companies.

In this video, you’ll get to see some of the companies and facilities in the SS&TP. You’ll witness the beautiful views and get a sense of the community created by meeting places, pocket parks, walking paths, the childcare center, and even lunch-time gatherings with food trucks and picnic areas. You’ll even get a peek at a few of the technologies being advanced by companies in the SS&TP, as well as hear from some of the people about why they enjoy working in the SS&TP so much.

The SS&TP is a model for public-private partnerships. The Park’s approach blends the technology transfer strength of Sandia National Laboratories with community partnership involvement. Some of the companies in the SS&TP are partners with Sandia, engaged in joint research and development, technology commercialization, and supply chain development.
