Château Louis XIV in Saint-Maximin and Massangis limestones

If natural stone is often associated with buildings of the past, this material is also totally current. This natural material has a wide range of uses in architectural projects.

It can still be used in a traditional way, for example on the Château Louis XIV in Louveciennes, but it will also find its place on modern projects with low environmental footprint.

The Château Louis XIV, completed in 2011, after two years of construction work, bears all the characteristics of the architectural lines of a 17th century French estate, with all modern comfort.

The château built by the developer COGEMAD and designed by the French heritage architect Pierre Bortolussi. The best craftsmen participated in this construction.

ROCAMAT supplied the French limestone of Saint-Maximin and Massangis. Nearly 730m3 of limestone were supplied to stonemasons to complete the cladding of the façades and the ornaments: columns, façades, walls, friezes, statues, stairs, balustrades...
