Not accurately depicted in the video but the smaller rotors rotate at twice the RPM of the bigger one so they achieve the same tangential tip speeds so the torqure of the two rotors cancel out.

Premiere advantage of this setup is lower downwash velocity, lower noise, closer spacing of rotors (compared to traditional coaxial setup which also leads to reduced weight reduced drag and lower RCS). The smaller rotor does not develop a tip vortex due to interaction with the downwash of the bigger rotor.

Because the total lift is closer in distribution to the center of the disk (as opposed to the tips in other rotor systems), The disc vortex is much weaker leading to higher hovering efficiency, greatly reduced noise.....And upon testing in simulator, also made the helicopter incredibly resistant or even completely immune to VRS (Vortex Ring State). As a matter of VRS immunity, also made the helicopter incredibly agile and very easy to maneuver in tightly confined spaces
