This concept is also immune to the risks of Vortex Ring State (VRS) so this is actually safer to operate than helicopters and other VTOL. Non-cyclic control also makes it more reliable and cheaper to maintain than helicopters (due to considerably less wear, vibration, and fatigue on the rotor system).
