This week, I wanted to take Mrs. TwinStick out on a date night date with #ProjectSnowman and I came up with the idea to drive the rig to a local truck stop and ride Himiway e-bikes to a nice little restaurant cause I’m romantic like that. Of course, I highlighted how e-bikes are very well suited to truckers as there’s usually only garbage food at truck stops and truckers don’t get the opportunity to get much exercise. I mentioned this concept last year during the Lesco 2023 truck show episode and a lot of viewers commented that there’s no place to put the bike, so some friends of mine Blake (Fly, Weld, Fab) and Dallas (Single_Drive) came up with a new way to mount a bike rack up behind the cab so I decided to take this opportunity to try out proof of concept and it worked like a charm.
