On this episode I continue with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for??? “You got peanut butter or somethin’ in your ears??? Tell me what that woman’s got on!”

Continuing where I left off last episode, I elected to finally install the movie-correct Grover Air Horns I found in Ep. 22 of my #OnTheHunt series. Mounting the horns and running the air lines now makes sense as there’s no risk of damaging the paint when I finally get to that. Once they were plumbed, you wouldn’t believe hwo loud these horns are and they look and sound just like the movie. After that, I decided to remove items like the air cleaners and mirrors and started taking off the emblems. And I share and interesting fact about the Kenworth hood emblems and where they were placed on one of the two movie trucks.
