Wow, what a day! Starting at one of our fav spots so far, Kaiteriteri beach, after sleeping in the holiday park we're upgrading to an apartment, going to Split Apple Rock, taking a kayaking tour, hiking in Abel Tasman National Park and seeing more of this insanely beautiful coastal track of New Zealand.

Abel Tasman National Park is one of those dreamy locations we've always wanted to visit, but never have. On one hand, New Zealand is a small place and reaching Nelson isn't too tricky from Auckland, the trip to Tasman isn't too tough either, but you really want to get to this beautiful area and spend a lot of time. You can actually pick do a bit of mix and matching with the tours. It's possible to do just the boat trip / boat cruise into Abel Tasman National park in order to go for a hike yourself, or just jump into a kayak only as part of the 2 hours kayaking tour, or go all out like we did in one day.
