The helium hotspot miner has been getting more and more traction lately. So I will cover what it is, how it works and if its worth the investment or not.

What is the peoples network - Helium is a global, distributed network of Hotspots that create public, long-range wireless coverage. They want it to be a decentralized wireless network.
That means people like you and me have devices in our houses that give off wireless signals and other business or products can use that wireless signal to transmit data or information.

Now how does the network? Everyday people like you and me would buy a hotspot, set it up in our house to constantly put out wireless signal.

Now what is the benefits of having helium - well when you set up a hotspot and allow people to connect to the wifi you are putting out, you get helium tokens or HNT.

Now that I have covered what the network is, how it works, lets address the big question. Is it a scam. The obvious answer is No this is not a scam. But the even bigger question “is this worth the investment”.

It really depends on where you live and how much HNT coin you can mine. The more popular areas will mine more coin than less popular. I personally do not think it is worth the investment. But I live in a low populated area.
