Valve Clearance Check with Shim Change BMW R1200GS LC: DETAILED Step-by-Step Instructions
This is a detailed video instruction on checking the valve clearances and shim change on both cylinders on a 2016 BMW R1200GS boxer engine. We show every step from removing the engine guards, valve cover, checking clearances with feeler gauges, calculating new shim thickness, removing the camshafts and shims, and re-assembly showing all torque values and other insights all along the way.
