THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE MOMENTS FROM HURRICANE HANNA 2020

Since July 23, 2020, different media outlets were in charge of reporting on a tropical storm named Hanna. However, just 2 days later, on July 25, it became a category 1 hurricane after gaining strength as it moved from the Gulf of Mexico to the Texas coast, registering maximum winds of approximately 130 kilometers per hour.

According to preliminary reports issued by the National Hurricane Center in the United States, the eye of this hurricane was positioned about 160 km east-southeast of Corpus Christi, in Texas.

Faced with this situation, Governor Greg Abbott issued a state disaster declaration for 32 counties, and thanks to different information reports, it was learned that Hanna hit the coasts of Texas on July 25 at 5 pm on Padre Island, causing great havoc.
