Schloss Drachenburg

For our 6th marry anniversary we visit the Drachenburg Castle in Königswinter, Germany. It lays in the hills region with many vineyards.
It is easy accessible from the carpark. In 15 minutes you will be there walking uphill. We were there in Autumn. Nice to find this castle in between the colored trees. It lays on the east bank of the Rhine river.

It is very beautiful from every angle. You will feel in a fairy tail. You can go inside as well. It has very beautiful & colorful glass windows.

On the entry there is a small cafe where you can have a coffee with cake.

Schloss Drachenburg or Drachenburg Castle is a private villa styled as a palace and constructed in the late 19th century. It was completed in only two years on the Drachenfels hill in Königswinter.
