Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver - Big Boy Locomotive 4005

We are at the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver to see their Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Including Union Pacific Big Boy 4005.

Forney was an industrialist who collected trains and small steam locomotives which he ran at his factory. After screwing around playing 1:1 trains, he created the Forney Museum, to house and expand the collection. Best known for their Big Boy, 4005, one of the 8 surviving Union Pacific Big Boys. The Bog Boy was one of the largest steam locomotives ever built. Most would say, the largest.

And speaking of Big Boy Locomotives, locomotive number 4014 is being restored just about 100 miles north of here in Cheyenne Wyoming.
