ABANDONED Trafford Park Railway and Level Crossing

After visiting Old Trafford stadium to watch Manchester United play Derby County (and lose), I found that Trafford Park once had it's own railway network. It is long abandoned and closed completely in 1998. I filmed a small section of the abandoned railway and then the disused Level Crossing on Trafford Park Road and Moorings Road . The crossing looks like it was upgraded in the 1990's as it has NINE NRS Wigwags and Yodalarm Sounders. There is a rare Forest City Pedestrian Light and a train drivers white light which could suggest all the wigwags were once Forest City. Some of track had also been renewed in sections with flat bottom rail joined to the bullhead rail. This could have been done over 30 years ago but would still be new for this railway.
