The victim of Sydney's first fatal shark attack in 59 years was 35-year-old Simon Nellist, an ocean lover from the city's south.

About to be married, the dive instructor has been remembered as someone who made the world a better place. All beaches from Bondi to Cronulla were closed today, but that didn't deter some.
