Hidden Figures Movie Director, Producer and Book Author Speak At The White House

On December 15, 2016 I attended a screening of the movie Hidden Figures hosted by the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama at the White House.

After the screening we had an opportunity to listen to the cast, director, producer and book author speak. Watch and listen to the Author of the Hidden Figures Book Margot Lee Shetterly, the Director of the Movie Ted Melfi and one of the producers of the film Mimi Valdes speak about the project. They speak in the order I have them listed. I will post a video of the cast speaking as well.

The passion and honest desire to tell this true and very inspirational story is so evident in this video. Listening to them talk about the creative process is inspiring. It is clear this was a passion project for everyone involved and they all worked tirelessly to make a movie that not only tells this part of history to the world, but also empowers women and all minorities today to work hard and Dream, Big Act Big and Inspire Others. It's a very inspirational clip to watch.
