Carnival of Souls (1962) - 50 Horror Classics box set, 5-Minute Movies

Continuing with 31 days of horror, we're going to fill out the weeks normal releases with selections from the 50 Horror Classics box set. In this episode, we're going to check out the 1962 film Carnival of Souls. A classic of the genre, we follow Mary Henry, survivor of a terrible drag-racing accident, as she goes to the big city to follow her dreams of being an organist. She finds herself detached from the outside world and increasingly haunted by ghouls and phantoms, which seems to be related to the call of an abandoned pavilion that resides just outside the city.
