CNC Machining an HKS SSQV BOV Adapter for 10th Gen Honda Civic!

Today we are CNC Machining an HKS SSQV -Super Sequential BOV ( Blow Off Valve ) flange adapter to bolt up to a 10th Generation Turbo Honda Civic. This Billet BOV flange will be cnc machined on a Fadal VMC out of 6061-t6 aluminum at the @3P_performance shop in Colorado.

I will show you some of the Fusion 360 CAD and CAM as well as the parts design. This flange is 3D modeled and manufactured in @adskFusion . I absolutely love the capabilities in Fusion 360 when it comes to 3D modeling, Computer animated manufacturing, renders and sheet metal + So much more.

This part is machined on a Fadal VMC 15 @3P_performance in Colorado. The Fadal has been an excellent machine to use, especially for its quite friendly price tag (Considering its 20 years old) and offers a 21 place tool changer and quite a large work area for its foot print. Older CNC machines take a little bit of dialing to figure out the strengths and weaknesses but once you have it figured out they run great! This old cnc Fadal VMC won't ever be able to hang with a newer cnc Haas Milling center but it does wonderful for what it is! Its a great machine.

The Crisp sound of the HKS SSQV (Super Sequential Valve) Paired with this 10th Gen Honda Civic sounds really good actually. Everyone has a certain preference when it comes to Turbo Noises but I think this is definitely an A+ in my book. Watch till the end and you'll get a tiny preview of this Civic hitting boost so you can hear the HKS BOV.
