Why do we eat matzah on the 14th of Iyar, not the 15th? | Ask the Rabbi Live with Rabbi Chaim Mintz

We don't say tachanun on the 14th because the day on which a person brings a sacrifice is a holiday for him, and since those who were impure on Pesach brought the Pesach sacrifice on that day, we commemorate by not reciting tachanun. Once we commemorate on the 14th, we eat the matzah on this day as well.
