Australian Steam: Maldon Steam Spectacular 26 Oct 2013 R761 K190 J515 J549 D3 639

A few minutes of footage from a great day out... Steamrail's R761 and K190 hauled a special from Melbourne to Castlemaine, where the train was shunted to platform 3 for K190 and J515 to haul out to Maldon. At Muckleford, an Up charter hauled by J549 crossed the train, and J549 was swapped with J515, so K190 and J549 double-headed tender-to-tender to Maldon. K190 remained at Maldon, whilst J549 and D3 639 hauled the train back to Castlemaine. The final shot shows R761 and D3 639 heading up Chewton bank towards Elphinstone Tunnel on the return trip to Melbourne.
