Australian Steam: 5917 R766 Canberra Transfer December 2022

The Picnic Train transferred their two steam locomotives (ex-NSWGR 5917 and ex-VR R766) and ex-NSWGR diesel 4906, along with a nice long train of mainly passenger carriages, from Sydney to Canberra on 20/21 December 2022. We pick up the train in Goulburn Loco early on the morning of 21st December 2022 and follow it through to Canberra. The two locos looked and sounded magnificent along the scenic Canberra line.
