Australian Steam: 3801 Junee to Goulburn 11-12 April 2021

After spending ten days visiting Albury/Wagga running shuttle trips for the public, 3801 along with 4501 and 4201 all returned to Thirlmere on 12th April 2021. We start with a quick shot of the last Uranquinty shuttle on 11th April, then chase the big green Pacific north from Junee to Goulburn on Monday 12th April.

This was a superb crisp and cold day, with fantastic steam effects. We start with some awesome drone footage of 3801 on Bethungra Spiral followed by more drone and fixed camera footage on the journey north to Goulburn.

The train was shunted at Goulburn to put 4501 at the front of 3801 and 4201 at the back of the train, and we finish with a final shot of this combination leaving Goulburn.
